Hello! 

        I am Luci Cicalese!  First off, here are some fun facts about me.   I am in high school.  I have been homeschooled my entire life.  I am Catholic.  I am the youngest of three siblings (the sibling closest in age to me is six years older!).  My favorite punctuation marks are exclamation marks and parenthesis.  I have been in Girl Scouts since kindergarten.  I like helping out with younger kids (in Girl Scouts, at church, and other places).  My dad was in the military until I was eleven, so I have moved around a bit.  Now, I have lived in one town for five plus years, and I love feeling like I finally have a hometown! :)

       Second, here is why I am starting this blog and what it is about.  I am creating this blog for my Girl Scout Gold Award (if you do not know what that is, it is kind of like the Girl Scout equivalent of the Eagle Scout award).  I went through a lot of different ideas for my Gold Award, but I think that in all of my ideas, some part was about helping people be happy.  Being happy is something I talk about a lot (ask any of my friends or family, and they will tell you this is true).  My Gold Award will mostly be this blog, but it will also include other ways of helping everyone be happier.   Also, please tell other people about this blog, because my way of measuring if I succeed in earning my Gold Award is by how many people read this blog.  Oh, and the reason this blog's name is Happy Day is because when I was really little, I would say Happy Day!

       This blog will help you remember to be happy and cheerful! Of course, no one is happy all the time, but this blog is to help you be happy more of the time!  I hope for the first few months to have a post each week, and each week will have a different theme. Our theme for the first week of the month is happy days of that month, the second week is happy activities (happy movies, songs, books ect.), the third week is happy world (learning about fun traditions around the world or happy news), the fourth week is happy advice from people, and if there is a fifth week, it will be a surprise.

        Third, but not last, I would like to thank some people who have helped, are helping, and/or will keep helping (whether they know it or not!).
