Books or bananas

HI! This is Luci and Beamy! We have two happy days in August for you, but first some exciting news! You can now make your own plush Beamy!!! Head on over to our crafts page for instructions and the pattern! If you are on a mobile device, we highly recommend using a laptop or desktop device when you actually go to make your own Beamy.

In other news, I, Beamy, am switching my font color from yellow to purple for easier reading! Speaking of reading, our first happy day is Book Lovers Day on August 9th! Celebrate this day by reading your favorite books, a new book, or finally reading that book you have been meaning to read for ages. Reading really is very fun, but if you want to make others happy on Book Lovers Day (and therefore, help yourself be happier), you could read to your younger siblings or to elderly people who might have a hard time reading - or to someone who can read perfectly well, but might enjoy being read aloud to. As with Pie Day, Luci and I have a list of happy or funny books for you!

While Beamy is catching her breath, I wanted to tell you that our other happy day is Banana Split Day on August 25th. My favorite place to get a banana split is Dairy Queen. It is delicious!!! This is a pretty straight forward day to celebrate, and also a good day just to remember that even if many other things aren't going well, you live in a world with banana splits!
