Have a happy day, Happy the chimp!!!

Beamy and I are so excited about what we found on ZooBorns when we went there to get ideas for the next post. A video about a baby chimpanzee named Happy!!!!!! What could be happier than that???!!!! Happy is a boy and was born at Monarto Safari Park in Australia on December 20, 2022.

Someone else is also pretty excited about this baby chimp and has some fun facts about chimps for us!

Hi! This is Giallo, Beamy's cousin! Here are some fun facts about Happy and other chimpanzees!

1. Dr. Jane Goodall announced the birth of baby Happy with a video message!

2. Dr. Jane Goodall also named Happy and Happy's older sister, Hope!

3. Chimpanzees are considered endangered which means the birth of a baby chimp is especially AMAZING!!!!!!

4. Chimps are omnivorous frugivores, which means they love to eat fruit more than anything else!

Which reminds me, I need to feed my plush chimp, Smiley, a banana..........................
