On the twelfth day of Christmas, my sunshine gave to me twelve favorite Christmas traditions!

Hi! This is Beamy! For the twelfth day of Christmas and the grand finale, Luci asked twelve friends and family members what their personal favorite family tradition is. I hope you find a new tradition to try with your family!

"Every Christmas Eve, my family and I always make hot chocolate and watch Polar Express in our matching Christmas pjs." - Lexy

"One of my family's Christmas traditions is making a birthday cake for Baby Jesus! We also prep something special for breakfast on Christmas morning, whether it's eggs and bacon, cinnamon rolls, or croissants. :)" - Sarah 

"My favorite is every Christmas Eve getting Christmas PJs or something like that. I also really like going to Mass on Christmas, especially midnight Mass." - Natalie 

"My favorite Christmas tradition is my great uncle's Christmas party. Every year my extended family reunites at his house, and we have lots of food and sing Christmas carols. This has been a tradition since he and my grandfather were kids!" - Grace

"My favorite Christmas tradition is watching all the kids open their presents and seeing their faces light up. Then I help them assemble their toys and play with them. It's my favorite part. We do it at midnight usually. We have our dinner, and you can see the suspense as the kids wait until midnight to open their gifts and stockings." - Rianna

"My Grandma, Mom, and I always bake our Christmas cookies together. My family always goes to my church's Christmas Eve service. My whole family gets together on Christmas day after everyone's opened presents to have a big meal and play a ton of games. Playing spoons is always super fun but kind of dangerous. 😄" - Avery 

"My favorite Christmas tradition is: our family buys wrapped packages from a center that takes amazon returns. we do a white elephant game, and everyone gets to take home a secret gift. :)"- Abby

"I have many, including playing Christmas songs on my flute on Christmas day, reading the Christmas story on Christmas Eve and baking Christmas cookies. Oh, and dancing in the Nutcracker! And eating Christmas cookies for breakfast on Christmas morning. And going to mass." - Ciara

"One of my favorite traditions is putting lots of ribbon and bows on gifts. Particularly crinkle ribbon which is very fun to curl." - Luci
