Song Power!

Hi! It’s Luci! And Beamy! Today we have some happy songs for you to listen to next time you need some pep in your step!

1.      “Love Power” by Indina Menzel from Disenchanted. There is version from within the movie and one from the credits. I like both! This song is all about the magic of memories with loved ones. One of my favorite lines from this song is “So when you're in need of magic / This is where to go / Find the song inside you / that your memories seem to know.”  Next time you don’t know how to be more positive, this song will remind you to think of happy memories with loved ones and how the magic of these memories can make you magically happier. Even better is to go make new memories with family and friends through playing games, playing this song for them, or introducing them to a blog that has an adorable sun as the mascot!

2.      “What I’ve Been Wishin’ For” from The Lodge. The cast of The Lodge sings this song while camping, so it is very appropriate for the summer when many people go camping, hiking, or swimming in lakes.

3.      “Pineapple Princess” by Annette Funicello. This song is very summery and a little silly but very fun, and it always makes me smile.
